Accessories for vine trellising

The horizontal trellis is only composed with wires installed permanently or vertically movable.
Trellis devices vary according to regional habits but always have fixed wires (the inferior wire supporting the fruit spears and the superior wire supporting the foliage). For an ascending branch trellising system, we use two parallel wires to hold branches and we lift up following the growth.
These parallel wires are called movable wires.



  • Accessories for movable wires
    1 - Standard Spreader
    The standard Fenox spreader allows the movable wires to be held on each side of the stakes -of a row of vines. It is made of galvanised steel

    • 2 -Universal Mixed Spreader
    This spreader has the same function as the pre-drilled standard spreader, but is solely intended for metal stakes of the "angle" type size 30 - 35 - 40 mm pre-drilled.

    3 - Galvanised spreader tip for wood posts
    The spreader tip (patented) is designed to fix a movable wire on a wood post

    4 - Wire tie for posts
    The wire ties are installed on front stakes and keep the movable wires on each side of vine raw. The wire ties allow the movement of parallel wires vertically

    5 - Clips for movable wires
    The clips are used to bring the parallel or movable wires closer. FENOX is proposing two kinds of clips:
    - Re-usable aluminium clips
    -     Biodegradable wood clips made of compressed wood-fibre (without using glue or a synthetic binder)

      6 - Vineyard staple (fixed wire)
      The vineyard staple for wood post is used to keep the wires in fix position. It has a very high pulling resistance thanks to its harpoons.



    7 - Re-usable links
    The Fenox link adapts to all vine shoot dimensions, up to 25 mm diameter. Elastic, the link allows the vine shoot to be fastened without damaging it. Made of 18/10 stainless steel (AISI 304)
